Our Rehab Department provides high-quality, comprehensive inpatient and outpatient therapy services.
PHYSICAL THERAPY
As part of a treatment and rehabilitation process, a physical therapist and physical therapist assistant will stretch, strengthen and facilitate muscles, challenge balance, test coordination, teach home exercise programs, and enhance basic mobility skills.

Lauderdale Community Hospital provides outpatient services.
If you are an individual recovering from bypass surgery, heart attack, coronary interventions (stents), stable angina, or valve replacement, you no longer have to drive to Jackson or Memphis for your cardiopulmonary. We have these services right here at home at your community hospital.
Are you suffering from COPD, Emphysema, Pulmonary Fibrosis, Chronic Bronchitis, or other lung-related issues? The LCH rehabilitation unit is open to help you in your time of need. It is our goal to help you understand your condition and improve your health and quality of life.
Our Director, Michelle Simpson, has 29 years' experience as a Registered Nurse with 6 years dedicated to Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. She provides one on one individualized attention and education during monitored therapeutic exercise, while viewing the cardiac rhythm in cardiac patients and oxygen saturation in pulmonary patients.
